Just a few years ago getting my nails done at the salon used to be a ritual of mine. When my schedule got too busy and couldn't find time to get to the salon I had to learn how to do them myself. I was never a huge fan of the press on nails since they always popped off within a few days but; with more practice I have grown to love glue on nails amongst other types of nails. I love basics because you can wear them with almost everything and don't have to worry about the design clashing! They have so many different nail styles/shapes and colors to choose from. Newly launched and I'm obsessed; especially with the packaging. This is such a good mix of everyday neutral matte and shimmer shades; keep it simple or go bold. This has both warm and cool tones to suit all skin tones. The texture of these shadows are silky smooth and apply like butter. What I really love about this palette is the bold glitter shade, it really adds a pop to spice up any look. The chunky glitter shade you expect it to apply more patchy than it does because of how big the glitter is but it goes on smooth in just one sweep. When packing on the glitter I like to wet my brush with the setting spray then dip it into the glitter shadow and pat to apply. Swatches are all primer free because I know there are a lot of ladies out there who don't use a primer.
